Mission
To provide equitable primary health care and resources to those with limited access across Colorado.
Vision
To improve people’s lives by having affordable, quality health care accessible to all.

History
Corvida Health Clinic, formerly Clinica Colorado, joined the Colorado safety net community in 2011 with the purpose of providing a medical home for the underserved, especially uninsured Spanish speaking families. Our founder, Dr. Jim Williams, understood that there was a clear need to increase capacity to care for a very large population of insufficiently insured people, estimated at that time to be 1.3 million by the Colorado Health Institute.
Even today, years after the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, thousands of Coloradans are uninsured. There are many reasons that individuals and families are not covered by health insurance and that is who we serve. Since our opening, we have provided more than 50,000 patient visits.
We greatly appreciate your support of our mission!
Our Story
Corvida Health Clinic was built on a simple belief: everyone deserves exceptional, compassionate health care, regardless of insurance status, income, or language.
For more than a decade as Clinica Colorado, we stood as a trusted medical home for families across our community. Our new name reflects our growth and renewed commitment, while honoring the team, mission, and values that have guided us from the beginning.
Our roots remain the same:
-
A mission grounded in dignity and equity
-
A team that reflects and understands our community
-
A commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive care
-
A belief that everyone deserves to be heard, respected, and cared for
Why We Rebranded
Our transition from Clinica Colorado to Corvida Health Clinic marks a new chapter, one that embraces innovation, improves access, and strengthens the services our patients rely on. The name “Corvida” symbolizes care at the core of health and community. It represents the heart of our work: supporting families, promoting wellness, and ensuring every person can receive care in the language they trust.
The new name may have changed, but the people, passion, and purpose behind it have not.
Who We Serve
Each year, Corvida Health Clinic provides care to thousands of patients:
-
93% are uninsured
-
98% are Hispanic/Latino
-
96% live below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level
We are proud to be a safe, welcoming clinic for those who have limited care options elsewhere. Every patient who walks through our doors receives the same level of respect, attention, and high-quality care.
Our Care Philosophy
We believe great health care starts with listening. Our providers and staff take time to understand each person’s story, their challenges, their culture, their goals and partner with them to build a healthier future.
Our care model emphasizes:
-
Bilingual, culturally responsive care
-
Evidence-based medicine
-
Preventive care and chronic disease management
-
Long-term relationships with patients and families
Our Team
Corvida Health Clinic is led by a dedicated, bilingual team of nurse practitioners, medical assistants, front-office staff, and volunteers who share a deep commitment to serving the community.
Our Promise
We will continue to stand with our patients, families, partners, and community providing care that is accessible, affordable, and rooted in dignity. Our clinic is more than a place of treatment; it is a place of trust, healing, and hope.
New name, same mission. Corvida Health Clinic is here for you, your family, and our community.
